Course Overview

Students will be introduced to the fundamental principles of health promotion as they relate to children & adolescents. Beginning with prenatal health, course content will prepare students to identify, understand and respond to issues of lifespan development. Health is presented as a holistic and inclusive construct, in which students are supported to help clients develop strengths to help themselves and their families
